Gadgets/Parameter Control - Description

It’s very simple to get VSM to control your equipment. All available parameters provided by a particular protocol appear in a list, once a device using that protocol has been registered by Virtual Studio Manager. Using simple drag and drop action, parameters can be assigned to panel buttons for further control. Absolute values can then be defined for a selected parameter. For example, set up typical delay times to compensate for audio and video delays by assigning the appropriate values to different buttons. Select the first button for 1 frame delay, the second for 2 frames and so on. Additionally, you can define nudge buttons to modify the parameters, with different up and down steps (+/- 100ms, +/- 10ms, +/- 1ms etc.). Or choose a different user interface, depending on the selected panel type – VSM hardware panels have optional incremental encoders for rapid parameter adjustment. Simply selecting the required parameter’s button changes the assignment of the incremental encoder.

With vsmPanel, a soft client, every configured button may also be selected to a slider mode. Coupled with mouse or touch screen operation, settings and parameters are really easy to modify.
