RFID Tag Reader - Description

An RFID tag reader is attached to the RS422 port provided on the rear of all VSM hardware panels. The panel layout, its behavior and configuration can be associated with different RFID smartcards. For example, special user groups, such as system administrators or system managers, can be allowed quick and easy access to critical destinations and parameters. Removing the card from the panel switches the layout back to its default configuration, or simply locks the panel to prevent any unauthorized system changes.
