Implementing Panels

VSM hardware is added to the system simply by connecting it to the IP network and giving it UDP packet access from one of the servers.

With the vsmDiscover software module, all VSM hardware connected to the system becomes visible for further configuration, such as IP settings, main server login and routing information. Following the setup, only TCP packets are used for all further communication.

vsmDiscover is also a firmware management tool for all connected VSM hardware. Any necessary updates can be carried out remotely from any server on the VSM network.
