A VSM control system brings together all the requirements for a safe and flexible broadcast operation. It is in a class by itself when it comes to the implementation and control of almost every type of broadcast system, such as video routers and switchers, audio systems and peripherals. The ‘everything under one roof’ philosophy unites technical devices and operators in a most adaptable way.
The IP infrastructure of a VSM network, including all control panels, interfaces and external devices, guarantees easy installation. All the advantages of IP connectivity, such as its high data performance and standard management components, increase the power of a complete broadcast system.
Operation is a breeze for users, thanks to a variety of interfaces. Free configurable Hardware panels in a number of different styles provide maximum information via their high-resolution buttons, as required. For truly intuitive operation, touchscreen solutions are available to display any individual panel layout.
VSM is already installed in the largest mobile television trucks in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, in studio facilities and master control rooms. The system was even in action during the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany, for the management of every single contribution and transmission line inside and outside the International Broadcasting Center. Around 40,000 crosspoints were handled by the Virtual Studio Manager system. It's the device that controls and manages your applications, without forcing limitations on user interfaces and location.
